Get online support
I have noticed a vast increase in my data usage recently. From 26 Feb, my home internet data increased from around 300 - 500mb on most days to up to 1.5 to 3Gb a day. We don’t stream movies, use torrents or spend time on you tube. Our usage patterns have not changed. We appear to have used nearly all of our peak and off peak limits (100Gb + 100Gb) last month. When I was away from home a few days ago, I used tethering on my phone to hook up with my iPad to look up one website to get an address. It appears that I used 1.3 Gb of data in 13 minutes and I received a message to say that I was close to my 1.5Gb limit and that my mobile data had been switched off. How can I go through 1.3 Gb in data in 13 minutes?
I have run virus scans on our computers which all have come up clear. We have Netflix but have not used it for months. Can this have anything to do with the data usage?
