Switched to NBN 100 - But speeds have not changed?

I switched to the NBN 100 plan today, I was previously on the NBN 50. However, now that the plan has switched I'm still getting the same speeds as I did on the NBN50 plan. It’s been about 4 hours and I have an email confirmation about the plan change and that it’s gone through.

I'm wondering if the issue is linked to my modem router as I'm not using the TPG provided router. Rather, I'm using the Asus ac88u. Is there a setting or something I need to change in the modem to enable the higher speeds?

Thanks

Hi @Johnsmith . There's a chance it is set up wrongly at TPG end.

Have you done a reboot of the router?

Is it the DSL AC88U or RT AC88U? What type of NBN connection do you have?

You can try disabling QoS and do speed test again.

Hi David, thanks for the reply. Yea I have restarted the router a few times already. I have the Rt ac88u. I have been using it for the tpg 50 plan for a few years with no issue. I had to change some settings in the beginning but haven’t touched any setting since. I’m on fttc. Yes Have tried disabling QOS with no result. I’m thinking I may have to call tech support?
