TPG ADSL DISCONNECTED

Hi,

I received an sms from TPG and
My ticket has been closed but internet is still not working and hasn't worked now for 2 weeks. What the???

SMS FROM TPG:
TPG Ticket #10350427: Our tests show your service is now operating OK. Your fault ticket will be closed. If issues persists pls reply to SMS & we will call you

Please connect my internet asap please.

Before attempting the troubleshooting steps, we recommend that you do the following below.

  • Check our Service Status at https://www.tpg.com.au/servicestatus
  • "Power cycle" your ADSL modem. This means turning your modem off and waiting for one minute before turning it back on again. This allows your modem to reestablish connection to our server.

If you are still unable to connect to the Internet, you can proceed with the troubleshooting steps indicated on this link: https://www.tpg.com.au/support/problems_connect_internet.php

 

In your case, the copper line was disconnected due to the transition of the NBN service, however, there are some complications in order to progress the NBN order. Our Engineers have raised the case to check if we can retrieve the copper line to provide you the ADSL service. Updates will be given by your assigned Engineer once available.
