TPG / NBN FTTP Upgrade

Hi TPG Community,

My area (Lyndhusrt 3975) was selected as part of NBN's FTTP announced upgrade last year. Anyway, long story short, all the fibre work was completed in June, but I have yet to hear anything from TPG or NBN or any other provider on when the new speed/services will be active. From what I understand, NBN was said to be doing the "last mile" fibre work from pit to the premises for free if you order or are already on or over a 100/40+ plan (which I have been on for years but don't get the full speed of). Does anyone have any more information on this? or what sort of Higher speed Plans TPG will offer?

Hi @nait_69 ,

Thanks for raising this to us. I would like to confirm if this is a Migration of NBN technology to NBN FTTP. If so, TPG do not have control with this it is best contact them directly with the current progress or update.

Further info can be found on https://www.nbnco.com.au/learn/technology-choice-program.

Let me know should you require further assistance.

Regards,

Hi @nait_69

The technology in which the NBN is delivered to individual premises can not be substituted or altered.

Currently, you have an NBN FTTN service.

Since NBN Co. is the wholesale provider of NBN services, ISPs surely will announce this option of switching from one NBN technology to another in the same service address as soon as it becomes available.

Should you require further assistance, you may reach out to us again or you may check out our self-help options located here: http://tpg.com.au/support

Cheers!

Second part of my question: What current plans does TPG offer to areas which are already serviced by FTTP technology?
