Using phone will cause modem to stop connecting

We just connected an FTTC installation.

Everything we make a phone call, the blue lights reset and takes around 15 minutes to start up again.

The phone is a Panasonic kx-tgm420az, which is said to be NBN ready.

I have tried plugging the modem into another phone line, but it will not connect.

I have also tried resetting the FTTC modem.

It's very annoying as a phone call will cause major inconveniences.

Is there a way to fix this problem?

Also, the LAN light keep on flashing. (It's blue).

Thank you.
