Hi Aubrey.

As well as the solar inverter, I have found my wifi extender won't detect the 5G band at all. How do I get the 2.4G band to work like it did on the older modem?

Hi @Bmilgate, if you've disabled the band steering, you should see the option to turn on both 2.4 & 5Ghz.

On most devices like a mobile, tv or laptop I can see both bands, but not on the solar inverter or the wifi extender. Even devices that can connect to both, only work on the 5G band. The 2.4G band keeps dropping out and is useless. This should not be so complicated.
