Very slow upload speed on the LAN ports of Archer VR1600v

Hi,

 

Since last week (about 7 days) I'm getting very slow upload speed on my LAN ports of the TPG modem/router. It's an Archer VR1600v. I called the NBN technical support link several times and they did reset my modem and also the line but didn't fix the issue. Both Wifi channels are working fine as expected and getting around 18Mbps upload speed.

 

Can you please help to troubleshoot why this is happening since last week? I have been using this model for more than a year now without any issues until recently. Thanks.

Welcome to the community!

 

Thanks for raising this to us, I noticed that the speedtest was not completed please re-run another speed test and post the actual upload speed result.

Also, send me your account details (Username/Customer ID) via Private message with the service address on file.

Thanks for sending me your details. I was able to locate the account and noticed that you have been in contact with our Technical Team and discussed the resolution of this particular issue. They'll be sending out a replacement modem since the devices affected are only those connected via LAN/Ethernet cable.

 

Updates with the shipment of the equpment will be provided by one of our Technicians via SMS/Email or Phone call.

Hi @Anonymous.,

 

I did receive the new modem. Plugged it in and tested both via Wifi 5G and also via LAN. Still the issue persists. Download speed was fine but the upload speed was very very bad and under 1Mbps.
