bad ping and high packet loss

Hi, iam new user, i connected tpg expecting stable ping then that of my old wireless broadband telstra. my laptop is the only device that is connected to router and no download runnning in background. yet i get "Request time out" and ping spikes. is there any solution for it. thank you in advance.

We were able to locate your account using your community details and was not able to detect any fault within the NBN network after the test that we did.


Are you aware that you are under the Standard NBN12/1 speed tier? Are you using a WiFi or a Wired connection with your Laptop?


Even though there's no Download activity in the background, were you aware if there's any Upload activity or if there's an application which is set to auto backup file? This may use the Upload bandwidth and may cause traffic that affects the speed of your service.
