email set up new Ipad

trying to set up emal account on new i pad for alias "maxxxxxxx"  have enterd many times details correct keep getting "system I/O error" cant set up this account on other Apple products either

Hi @mja I've just been chatting to support and there is a mail server issue that is affecting some email addresses, give it time and I'm sure it will be resolved.
