This article lists NBN hardware compatibility for BYO modems on standard TPG NBN plans.
Bringing your own modem will allow you to take up a TPG NBN plan with no setup fee on a no lock-in contract.
Most NBN modems purchased in the last few years should work on TPG NBN
Whether you’re re-using an NBN modem from a previous provider or purchased one from your local computer/electronics store or leading retailers such as Officeworks and JB Hi-Fi, most NBN modems will work with TPG NBN. However, there are a few exceptions. We’ve listed requirements and any modems with known compatibility issues here for your convenience.
For higher speed NBN plans, ensure your router and local network can support the higher NBN speeds (WiFi 6 and gigabit Ethernet WAN).
