3rd party hardware for setting up voip

Hello,

I have read many posts regarding TPG's voip service not working with 3rd party equipment. Is this still the case? I am planning on getting a new modem/router. I dislike TPG.s own modems as they lack functionality.

Hi @matzo70 ,

The TPG-NBN VoIP service will only work using our supplied modem/router. If you wish to use a 3rd party modem/router to get a stronger Wireless connection you have the option to connect it via DHCP settings.

No, I want to use the voip service on my own router. Can you provide this service?

Unfortunately, the VoIP service is only provisioned on the TPG supplied modem.
