Hi,
I’m currently subscribed to an FTTC NBN bundle that includes VoIP. Recently, I changed my router to bridge mode, which unfortunately caused my VoIP to stop working. As a result, I’m looking to switch providers.
I have a question regarding number porting. Do I need to inform TPG that I’m getting my number ported to another provider so that my internet connection remains active? Or can I simply ask the new provider to go ahead and port the number?

If you are porting your number, you need to make sure that your account stays active for it to be successful.
