No dial tone, can’t call and receive calls

Hi,

I have NBN with a phone set up and lately it has no dial tone when I pick up the phone. I can't ring anymore from it.  If someone else rings me from their handset it rings a long time until it hangs up.  I can't answer the phone cause I can't hear ringing.

It was working before. I replaced new cables for it, still doesn't work.

please have a look into it.

We were able to locate your account using your community details and tested the line, but was not able to detect any fault within the Phone service.

The handset should be connected to the Phone port 1 of the modem/router that we've provided you. Refer to this article for the setup : NBN Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (NBN HFC) Setup Guide

Once done, please let us know if the service is still not working.
