Hi, I have the following set up as shown in the attached:
NBN Box > TPG Router > Switch
I have a working analog phone connected to the TPG router.
I want to know if i can connect a hard wired landline phone to the switch.
Can I use a VOIP phone? Can I use an Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA)?
Please can you tell me what will work.
Thanks
Hi @Rgoldberg
The bundled VoIP service will only work if your handset is connected to the designated phone port to your modem/router.

Hi @Rgoldberg . Do you want to use the second handset (analog) as an extension for the main handset?
You can get a RJ11 double adapter to plug into the Phone port on the router. Plug your main handset into one port on the adapter. Plug a telephone extension cable into other port and run it to where you want the second handset. The Phone port can drive a phone load of 3 REN (ringer equivalent number). DECT handsets are typically 0.1 REN.
Plug your main handset into one port on the adapter.
