A neighbor (across the street) has a letter from Telstra and on it is written a technician is coming out on 27/02/2020. I believe Telstra as Telstra obviously does the entire area.

Is that the whole street or just one individual?

Doesn't feel like anything is happening fast or quickly at all when it comes to fixing the lines that are out.

1) Still a dodgy internet.
2) Still no phone.

Found out some of the other TPG users (neighbors) not having TPG today as we had a meeting, also, NBN came today for NBN customers. Seems none of them have had any internet or phones at all. In fact, where my internet has been dodgy, the NBN ones had ground zero.

As for TPG...case by case.

Thursday must be the next "escalation date" for Week 3 coming up...

Was told last week until 7pm. For some reason TPG keeps trying to add an extra day.

No point as no one is likely to turn up.

1) Still no phone.
2) Dodgy internet.

TPG you don't have permission to call my phone because all it is is to keep "escalating" it week by week.
How is that "escalated"? It isn't.

Compensation would be something to consider for a service not being provided at all - to all customers.

TPG has been told by Telstra: March 11th, 2020. Informed by TPG earlier tonight.

IINET by Telstra - February 26th, 2020. Informed by IINET for someone else.

On Telstra's website more or less:

Yes, there's an outage at this location. (Address provided).

1) It is affecting your home phone service.

2) It is affecting your internet service.

We’re working hard behind the scenes to get your service working

Home Phone Service is disrupted
Internet Service is disrupted

Services should be restored:

By Friday 6 March

Last updated 9:48pm 20/02/2020

Cause:

Cable damage caused by independent construction in the area

What type of communication really goes on between Telstra and Internet providers?

Let alone Internet Providers and it's customers...

Don't know which is worse...

A dodgy internet and no land line phone or the constant messaging and phone calls from TPG to my mobile about "constantly working" with "Telstra" to get it fixed before mid March 2020.

No need to SMS/Text or call all the time when nothing can be done.

ALL calls are now blocked to my mobile. Less is best!
