The landline can NOT make outgoing calls

Since switching to NBN, the landline can only receive incoming calls but can’t make outgoing calls. It has the dialtone but when making a call, you always heard the voice” the number you have dailed is not available from this service, OCA 0163”. The internet works fine.

I’m getting the same thing. The Oz Talk add on is activated but still get this message.
Rang support about 4 times now and still no result.

I'm having exactly the same problem, how can we fix this?

There is no problem with the telephone line, you can even use the phone to call TPG customer service directly. The problem was that the outgoing call function was suspended due to insufficient funds in the account.

We received your PM and checked the account. It shows that your phone status is 'unfinancial', which is why you are not able to make calls.

There's a pending payment that you need to settle as well.

 

We'll raise this with our Accounts team and have someone to call you before 3PM today.

Same problem here,I cant see TPG having problems with the funds as they have direct debit to my bank account.Phoned numerious times,all to no avail,the techicial dept.said it a customer service issue and customer sevice dept.said it is a techicial issue.As I had to borrow a mobile phone to make these calls and  got nowhere,I put a complaint into the T.I.O.
