5G wired internet slow compare to WIFI

I just have a 5G internet Sagemcom 5866T Modem installed.

The WIFI internet is ok, running fast at ~50MB download and ~20MB upload.

The issue is with wired internet, very slow, max I get is max 6MB.Doesn't matter what I changed.

- I used different network adapters, from Intel I211, Realtek PCIe Gigabit.

- OS Windows 10 or Windows 11

- Different ethernet cables

- Connected direct to modem, tried to connect to 3x yellow RJ45 on modem.

- Different PC/laptop

When I took laptop/PC to another house with different ISP and different Modem/Router, its speed was fast.

So I beleive that the Sagemcom 5G from TPG has a issue with wired internet.

Have you tried to use a different Ethernet cable and tested all LAN ports? Could you shoot us a PM with your details to better understand the situation.

Hi Shane,
Thanks for your suggestion.
I have done all the possible solution, included change Ethernet cable, swap ports on modem. The same systems, the same configuration if move to other house the speed runs along faster

If all fails, then you may try to factory reset the modem/router.
