Hi,

I am finding that I can no longer connect to my modem. I have an internet connection and surf the web

I have done a Factory Reset, and makes no differance

Ipconfig results

IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.102
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

However when I enter 192.168.1.1 into Chrome I get

This site can’t be reached

192.168.1.1 refused to connect.

I am at a lost where to go from here.

Many Thanks

nelgnej

Hi Dylanpeck,

Were you able to fix it?

I have finally been able to find the fault after many hours of Trail and Error then sleeping on it.

The last things I did was to

  1. Factory reset on the Modem.
  2. Temporarily disable antivirus and firewall software.
  3. Flush your DNS cache.
  4. Clean out Cache in Chrome.

Now everything is working fine now.
