Connecting with OPNSense not working

Hey,
I'm trying to replace the router that was shipped by default with my own device running OPNSense on it but can't get PPPoE connection to work. I looked at the current router config and it uses the tagged VLAN.

I attached my current config for the PPPoE connection.

Looking at the log in Point-to-Point -> Log file I see

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?

Hi @asdfasdf

Are you under the NBN bundled with VoIP plan or the NBN data only plan?

If bundled, then you need to make sure that the third party device is configured with VLAN ID 2 along with the PPPoE.

If not, then no need to enable the VLAN ID of your device and just configure it with the PPPoE.

Send us a private message with your account details if you need further assistance.

Thanks for the reply.
I should be under NBN data only plan however, the default router I received was confirmed with VLAN 2 that's why I configured it the same way.

I have tried now to omit the VLAN and only use PPPoE which unfortunately also didn't work.

Hi @asdfasdf, please send in your TPG account details via PM. Thanks!

Hi @asdfasdf . Have you tried to reconfigure the TPG router by disabling VLAN ID? See if it connects.

You might need to contact OPNSense support.
