Recently I bought Netgear Orbi RBK753 mesh which consists of a RBR750 router and two RBS750 satellites. Despite many attempts of setting up with the Orbi App, Netgear RBR750 router failed to connect to the internet. I called TPG but they could not help due to their lack of knowledge of Netgear mesh system. Does anyone have similar experience to share? Thanks in advance.
Hi @alexyam
Did you set the main Mesh device as an access point? If it is set as a router, then it will not work with the main modem/router.
Make sure that the main Mesh device that's connected to the TP-Link modem/router is configured as an access point first.
You may contact Netgear support for further assistance.

Hi @alexyam . If you have FTTB/FTTN, you need the Archer for the RJ11 connection to phone line.
If you use the VOIP phone, the Archer has to be in wireless router mode and the Orbi is an access point.
If you don't use the VOIP phone, you can put the Archer into bridge mode and run Orbi as wireless router.
If you have FTTC/FTTP/HFC and don't want the VOIP phone, consider removing the Archer and connect Orbi directly to NBN box.
