FTTP - Google Nest Mesh

I’m moving into a new property that has fibre to the home, so have the nbn box tucked away in a closet.

I’m looking at setting up a mesh network, and wondering if the Nest can plug straight into the nbn box, or if it needs to go through a router?

Hi @ashmo

Welcome to the Community!

For the NBN FTTP technology, you need a router that is NBN ready to be connected directly to the NBN NTD box.

If the Google nest mesh bundle that you are going to purchase has a router capability, then it can be connected directly to the NBN NTD box.

You just need to configure it with the correct PPPoE Username and Password (TPG credentials).
