HG659 internet password can not save

Hi,

Each time I restart my HG659, it can not connect to internet automatically. I have to follow this step:
1) click home
2) click start wizard
3）select Connect with user account
4）TYPE MY PASSWORD AND THEN CLICK NEXT

I notice that my password is shown as"‧‧‧‧‧‧", but when I tick "show password", it is "********". It seems my password is not stored at all.

Just want to ask if I miss something or this is a faulty modem? 

I try to save this password by following these steps:

1) click Internet

2) click Internet setting

3) under PPPOE click edit

4) input my password and save

But when the modem restart, same thing happen. I still can not get internet connection automatically.

Yo, @kevinz When you say 'restart' the modem, you mean turn-on and off? I may suggest you can try to to a 'hard reset' on the modem and follow this troubleshooting below.
