How do I upgrade firmware on Huawei HG659

Hope you're doing well. We are currently having a problem connecting to your modem remotely for the push update. Can you please perform a factory reset using the reset pinhole.

Hi Riezl,

 

After the upgrade, I now seem to not be able to stay in the Huawei modem settings page. It will refresh automatically and boot me out and requires me to login again. This happens every 5s after logging in.

I already did a power cycle reset but it didnt fix it. Any solutions?

Update: It seems it will work in MS Edge and not in Chrome.

Appreciate the update @justinvajmer, the upgrade should not affect the login of the modem page. Aside from MS Edge and Chrome, have you tried it on other browser on the other device?

All good now! I did a reset of my pc network adapters and now its working.

 

The new firmware has now finally allowed me access to the USB drive on the network without messing around in the settings. Thanks.
