How do I upgrade my Vintage seven-year-old HG659 to a new a modem and keep my VoIP?
My ancient HG659 keeps dropping out, technical support doesn't think my modems the problem, but suggest I have a spare modem to use instead. Every time I get a drop out and must wait 10 to 15 minutes for it to reconnect, I check my line with the mobile TPG app, which states my connection is good. I check with the NBN via the NBN's website, and it's all good in their end.
I NEED MY VoIP AS I HAVE MY HEARING-IMPAIRED TELEPHONE TYPEWRITER CONNECTED TO THAT LINE!!!!!
Can I get TP-Link VX420-G2H or similar from TPG, or is that for new customers only?
