IP Assignment / Network configuration problem

After turning off band steering my PC is not having issues anymore (I think) but my laptop is still having the problem even after turning off DHCP.

Here is the system log, I don't understand any of it so here is all of it.

@jialanhu . When you turned off band steering, were you able to give the 5GHz band a different name; eg, just add  -5G  to the default name? Each computer can connect to the specific band that it can detect.

Is this the log from the router or extender? It looks like extender because it is receiving ip addresses from 192.168.1.1 (router). Do you have the corresponding router log?

When the extender is in its normal operating position, how many signal strength lights are on? It needs at least 3. From the log, the extender could be losing contact with the router and requesting a new address.

Yes, the 5GHz band has an added -5G to it. The log I posted earlier was from the extender.

In the normal position, there are exactly 3 strength lights on. But I tried moving it almost next to the router and even when all 5 lights are on, my laptop still has issues connecting to the main network.

@jialanhu . I need the router log to see why the laptop can't connect.

With the extender close to router, it should have a stable connection to router. This will show up in router log.

These are the 2 most recent pages of router logs

@jialanhu . Is there a power point for the extender that is slightly closer to the router than its normal position?

It looked like the extender was losing contact with router, which might have been interference.

The DHCP DECLINE is sent by the computer to notify the DHCP server (router) that the allocated IP address conflicts with another IP address. But I don't know what the other address might correspond to.

Since one of your computers does connect to the network, use this one to ping the ip address that is shown in the preceding ACK message. Does the address reply or timeout?

Does this working computer also connect through the extender?

Try a factory reset on extender. Means setting it up next to router and disabling DHCP.

There are closer power points but even after moving it to a position right next to the router, it was still having the same issue. Currently, I have contacted TP-link to see if they have a solution and they provided me with a  firmware update. Now my devices seem to be able to connect to the network, I will keep posted if there are any more issues, thanks
