@Rod_E . Does your mobile phone connect to the home wifi so that it can access the internet?

Electrolux should be able to tell you if the fridge is connected to their system. Give them the WAN ip address of your router and the fridge's serial number.

They should also be able to say what code 70 means, not just say a router problem.

Is there any text with the code 70?

We can't see any issues with the modem/router as you've advised that the fridge is able to connect to the WiFI.

However, the main concern is their Mobile Application.

 

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the App? You may need to check the meaning of the error with Electrolux to help us resolve your concern.

Yes, have tried many times uninstalling and reinstalling the app, which works ok and connects to the fridge and shows all the fridge details serial# , product# etc. But then drops connection and won't connect again

No information on what error#70 means

 

I have asked Electrolux to provide more technical details on requirements and setup, but i think their help is limited to whats in the manual.

Just to confirm, the App will get an error after a few minutes, but the Fridge remains connected to the WiFi?

Is that correct?

Yes the fridge is connected to the WiFi and remains connected, this is displayed on the fridge, and i can confirm by looking at the router WiFi status.

 

But the app after the initial momentary connection will not connect again, the app shows the fridge with a cross,

 

Error#70  Remote connection to the appliance has been disconnected. Please check the appliance power is on an that you have a working internet connection.

On our end, we can conclude that the issue is with the App as the Fridge remains connected to the network and visible to your modem interface.

 

We hope that Electrolux  can further check their App or update it if needed.

I have the latest version, the review is from 2021.

 

Electrolux have not been able to supply any technocal information other than whats in the manual.
