First post, cannot DM.

Looking for firmware upgrade or router replacement due to constant drop outs requiring reset.

Unable to manually update firmware as wrong file type?

Would like a push from TPG side and/or info on better router, particularly wireless perfromance.

Current firmware: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 220518 Rel.32480n

Hardware: Archer VR1600v v1.0 00000000

Thank you for help, imagine I'll need to DM to proceed

I have the same firmware and the exact same issue.

Never had an issue before so I'm thinking it must be this firmware?

Hi @dansblackcat,

For wireless issues it is best to perform basic troubleshooting to improve the Wi-Fi connectivity, please see the link below.

• Troubleshooting a Slow Internet Connection

• Easy Steps to Improve Wi-Fi Connection In Your Home

• Wireless Channel on your modem - what is it and why should I change it

Let us know how it will go.
