Modem for ultrafast

You should be getting the full speeds using the VR1600. What kind of speeds are you getting right now?

My VR1600 gives full speed without a problem.

Make sure that your computer (or whatever end device you're connecting with) can handle Gb speeds.

Some older PC's only have 10/100 ethernet. You need Gigabit (10/100/1000) ethernet

Some older WiFi extenders only have 150 or 300Mb/s speeds

Use the 5Ghz band WiFi for 1300Mb/s (2.4Ghz only gives about 450Mb/s).
