Modem upgrade

I have a Huawei HG659 modem that was supplied by TPG when I connected to the NBN 5 or so years ago. Is there an upgrade that supports VOIP (which I need because mobile reception is poor).?

@BasilDV . Doesn't the HG659 support VOIP, especially since it was provided by TPG? It has the phone ports on the device. Does this user not have a phone number allocated? Why should it need a new router?

Is the VX420 replacing the VR1600?

Are you sure the VX420-G2h is only $100? Is this the 4G home wireless broadband router? Don't these have to be returned when the account is closed?
