Port not open even after setting up virtual server

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi @Sachin,

Thanks for the details. Please make sure that the IP address of the device(s)
Raspberry Pi located on modem/router's page is the IP address you will need to add on the 'Internal IP'.

Network map > under 'Basic Tab' > select the 'Wired' or 'Wireless' clients.

Let us know how it will go.

Cheers!

Hi @Anonymous ,

Here is the page. It is the same IP address that I have used earlier.

Thank you @Sachin.

Is the IP of your device is set to Static or is it Dynamic/Automatic?

Have you tried to open any other port on your TPG supplied modem/router?

Hi @BasilDV

I have tried other ports but it did not work. I have been using dynamic IP but I can switch to static and try that.

Thank you, @Sachin.

The Static IP is necessary to open ports since your IP address will not change at any given time to avoid any issues within your setup.

If the port is still not open, try to reset the modem to start fresh then reconfigure it.

Keep us posted with the results.

Hi @BasilDV

I tried using static IP and it still did not work. I also tried other ports (21, 22, 23, 80) and also got conneciton timeouts from several different port checker websites.

Hi @Sachin,

Where did you set the Static IP? Have you tried changing the IP address to a different one? Did you try to reset the modem/router and reconfigure it again?

Have you tested the game if it's working as some port checker doesn't show that the ports are open even though it has been opened. The normal port like 80 is already open with us.
