Should I have an nbn connection box

I can't locate my NBN connection box, my HG659 modem just plugs into a normal wall socket

We were able to locate your account using your community details and learned that the NBN technology you have is FTTN (Fibre to the Node).

With this type of NBN technology, the existing copper wires are utilized in order to provide you the service. The modem is required to be connected directly to the wall/phone socket just like the old ADSL2+ service.
