Hi @coopercav

You may try to reboot or factory reset the modem/router.

Then test the connection speed again.

If it's still slow or dropping, kindly send me a PM with your TPG account details.

Thank you, tried several reboots, to no avail. I'll try a reset at the end of the week when work out of the way & I can screenshot the current config etc as I also have VOIP and a lot of devices to connect.
Quick question, I've been with TPG a few years now & router is not the latest I assume, plus as I say I have VOIP, do TPG supply newer/better modems now?

Hi,

My VR1600v modem reboots by itself several times a day, or sometimes shuts off completely and I have to press the button on the back to turn it off/on again. I tried replacing the power board and adapter, it didn't help.

Can a firmware update help with this issue?

Current FW version: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 220518 Rel.32480n

Thanks,

Stan.

Hi - I'm having similar router issues and internet issues. My firmware version is below, can you advise if this needs an upgrade?

Hi @5491710

The modem/router runs with the updated firmware version.

What troubleshooting have you tried so far?

Have you tried changing the WiFi channels?

Have you tried to factory reset the modem/router?

Hi - I've tried factory reset, changing wifi channels, and as much as my limited technical ability can support. My wifi is constantly dropping out and whilst WFH this is happening during important meetings.

Is my router on the latest firmware?

Thanks

Hi there, replying so I can private message.

Same issue as most people report. Wired connection is fine but constant Wi-Fi dropouts. Been happening for a long while. Thought it was just my modem.

I don't know which mods are around at this time of the year. Is someone able to reply so I can private message them?
