UPnP no longer working on archer vr1600 v

hi, I have used the usb port on the archer vr1600 v and been able to browse files under UPnP from various devices (ipad,  pc, iphone, android) via VLC player.

This stopped few days ago and I am facing all sorts of problems with accessing the data on the usb.
