Unable to connect to internet with Netgear AX1800 rax10

Bought the modem today and connected it to my NCD exactly the same way my tpg provided router was. Wi-Fi has a green light but the actual internet connection is Amber. I have tried everything and still cannot connect it. Suggestions?

Do you have an NBN Data only plan or an NBN with a VoIP bundle plan?


If you have the data only plan, then you just need to make sure that your router is configured with PPPoE connection type with your TPG username and password.


If you have the bundled plan, then you need a VDSL modem/router and configure it with VLAN ID 2 and PPPoE connection type.
