Upgrading my modem

vinnie08

I would like to upgrade my modem and am interested in the TP-Link X60.

But I have a landline phone as well.
The X60 does not have telephone (rj11) ports.

I have read articles detailing BYO Devices but none of these seem to cover if you have a phone bundle as well.

Is there a list of tested modems that cover modem options if you have both landline and NBN?
Or would I have to keep my HG689 for the phone and then plug the X60 into it. Would that not limit my bandwidth?

Hi @vinnie08,

Welcome to the community!

I checked on google about TP-Link X60, correct me if I am wrong but it seems like this is standalone router/mesh which you can simply connect to our supplied modem/router as an extension.

We have some articles that you may find helpful, this will provide information on how to connect a router/mesh extension.

Please see the link below.

Let us know how it will go and should you require further assistance.

Cheers!
