Wireless broadband modem

I'm having constant issues with the modem that was supplied with my wireless broadband internet - TP-link VXS420-G2h. When its works, the internet is usually pretty fast, but a few times a day the modem would freeze and wifi inaccessible to all devices and I would have to physically reset the modem. 

 

Is it possible for me to use a different 4g modem to see if I still have the same issue? If not, how do I go about cancelling the service and returning the modem?
