Hi @kieronagius,

We've detected a session with your service. Were you able to configure your D-Link Cobra with TPG NBN?

Hi Basil,

I have managed to work through the issue on my DLINK Cobra DSL-5300. For my FTTC connection the settings below enabled my connection.

The process was to use the wizard to setup the internet connection

Step 1 VDSL - make sure to enable VLAN and enter 2 for the VLAN ID.

Step 2 Select the PPPoE connection type

Step 3 Enter the TPG supplied Username and Password

Step 4 Setup the WIFI Name and password.

Step 5 Setup Device Admin password

Then finish by selecting Next.

Next go to the Setting Menu and select Internet and then IPv4 sub-menu

Step 1 Change WAN Access Type to Residential Gateway

Step 2 Change My Internet Connection to PPPoE

Step 3 Then Save

On that same page Select the VLAN sub-menu

Step 1 Enable V-LAN

Step 2 Under Internet VLAN ID enter the value 2

Step 3 Under the IPTV VLAN ID enter the value (any other value other than 2)

Step 4 Under the VOIP VLAN ID enter the value (any other value other than 2 and the value you inputed in IPTV)

Step 5 Then Save

DLINK and TPG were a great support, so thanks.

Wow! Thanks for the guide, @kieronagius.

I'm sure that others will be able use this as their reference.

Hi Kieron
I seem to be having a similar issue. Although my settings screen seems to be a little bit DIFFERENT(VIPER DSL-3900).
Been fiddling with it for some time now and I can't figure out what the problem is. Must be something simple.
This is what the settings page looks like after completing the wizard.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm lost.
Thanks
Tomm

Hi Tomm,

From the face of it under connection type you have selected VDSL, try and change that to residential gateway. Let me know how you go.
