Today I noticed that my Huawei HG659 reached 16 devices limit on my WiFi network. I was surprised that this limit was even there in first place. I thought limit would be 255 devices on subnet.
I called TPG technical support and I was told that firmware update can not be made to my router because it risks voice service might fail. My firmware version is V100R001C216B111.
I do not use voice service and willing to sacrifice that feature for more devices. Because of IOT devices, it is very easy hit this limit.
TPG please change my firmware or I might have to go with ther ISP after all these years.
