How long does it take for NBN activation

I received by NBN HFC connection box 2 days ago and I've left it plugged in but there is still no connection. I called the support line yesterday and all they told me was that NBN could not detect the connection box and to leave it plugged in. Is there an estimated amount of time that it takes for NBN to activate the connection?

NBN Installation has different Service Class types. Yours is under Service Class 24 which means that the service can be activated remotely; meaning the equipment is already installed specially the NTD. 


We are awaiting confirmation from NBN regarding the activation of your service.
