I have setup my modem and recieved confirmation from TPG that the service is running but there is no DSL connection on the modem. Logging to modem say please make sure phone line is connected. I have replied to the email TPG have sent me and spent 1hr waiting on the phone with no success. Modem is plugged into only phone socket in the house into the gray DSL port.

Hi @tbickerton . What model router do you have?

Supplied by TPG or bought retail?

What is the state of the DSL light?

Router is Model VX220-G2v sent from TPG. DSL Light is off and has never flickered on.

@tbickerton . Did you have a landline phone connected before? Removed ADSL filter?

If not, the phone line might not be connected.

Or, TPG have not done setup (router or FTTN) properly.

I've only moved in a month ago (yes its taken 4 weeks to get to THIS point) but the realestate agents said there was a phone connected previously. I suspect the phone line has been damaged during renovations as even if things were configured wrong there should be somesort of connection pressent.
