NBN incredibly slow for internet

Help please! Our NBN has been incredibly slow the last few nights and now this weekend it’s barely working on our phones. Speed test said it’s fine but it won’t complete the connection test, it just times out!!! We have to disconnect from the NBN & use our phone data. Not impressed!!
