I have been sent a NBN HFC, but the only coaxial outlet is the foxtel outlet, am i suppose to use it??

I would recommend checking out this article on how to set up your equipment with an existing or with previous Pay TV service:

NBN Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (NBN HFC) Setup Guide

If your home has been connected to the NBN before, there may already be an NBN Network Connection Box plugged in at your premises.
