Nbn connection box

Hi
I recently moved apartments and went through the system with tpg to change residence. The system said im ready to go, but my new apartment does not have an nbn connection box. I have tried for many days to chat with someone, but with no luck.

Anyone have any ideas to get in touch with tpg?

Thanks
Shawn

You might have a FTTB connection. Can you check this in your account details?

Do you have a wifi router from TPG or the one from your previous place?

FTTB may not need a NBN connection box.

Hey I brought my router over with me.

I'll plug it into the wall and see what happens.

So my router is a Netcom black one, which i got years and years ago. Plugged into two wall sockets one called data and the other phone. Waiting for 30 minutes in each case and no connection was made. Is my router too old?

Nowhere in my account does it say FTTB or FTTP, TPG send me a messaging linking to a youtube video showing i needed to connect the router to an nbn connection box, which is why i assumed it was FTTP.

I thought FTTB because you are an apartment block.

I don't think your old router is going to work.

TPG ought to have sent a new router for your type of connection there.

Were you ADSL at the previous place?

At www.tpg.com.au you can enter your street address to see what type of NBN you have. (Just underneath the picture on the home page.)

I had NBN FTTP before. I took the router when i moved. The router had been connected to the nbn connection box.
