Anything else I should try.
Note that the NBN NDC is connected via UTP6 to WAN Port ( not VDSL port).
Hi @alexwar
You will want to use PPPoE other than that your settings seem fine.
Your service is not yet provisioned by the looks of it. You have an NBN apppoitment booked for Tuesday, 02 June 2020, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

Thanks Karl. Yes little bit of discussions on the status of the installation. I in fact connect the NCD+TPG Router and IP connectivty is there but with the same speed of the existing DSL+. Shall wait for Tuesday.
Now NBN has been fixed. D8500 as a NAT working fine. But I could not make it work as a Router connected to the NBN NCD. Questions:
A) Do I need authentication ? The TPG D Link Modem does not have any ?
B) VLanID should be selected, VLANid=2 and priority leave Blank
C) Of Course Internet via Ethernert
What Am I missing ?
Hi @alexwar,
-You will need to setup a PPPoE connection with your TPG username and password.
-VLANid=2 and priority leave Blank is correct

@KarlB Configuration screens attached. If you see anything wrong let me know please
Hi @alexwar
The settings looks fine to me. Did you end up getting it to work?
Going by one of the other users threads they provided this tip, don't know if it will help or not.
"Worked it out myself Netgear D8500 has a bug with PPPoE.
You have to setup everything before login with PPPoE and once you have vdsl sync then go back and setup "Does your Internet connection require a login?""
If your still having issues you might be best to contact Netgear directly and see if they can offer assistance.

Karl
@KarlBPost on Netgear Support Forum. Will post here if I find the answer. The sync before login didnt work for me. Not sure if it is a timing thing. The sequence was:
Setup the router without LOGIN, and try to SYNC
Once done, add the credentials @tpg.com.au user/password and reboot
The first step never sync.
Hi @alexwar
Sorry, I forgot your FTTC so you wont see sync on your Netgear.
Your best to contact Netgear.

Karl
