No NBN connection box in house

Hi,

We’ve recently moved into a townhouse where the past two tenants have both used NBN.

We received confirmation today that our internet was available at our new address and have attempted to connect through the phone socket in the wall which did not work.

We have the NBN utility box outside, but there is no connection box inside or any indication that there ever has been. The previous tenant has said they used the NBN without this connection box - a technician simply flipped some switch in the utility box and it worked through the phone socket.

What do we do? Our account number is 579388.

Thank you.

Hi @Laurence1993 ,

Welcome to the community!

We're able to locater your account using your given details. We've seen that there has been an issue with your newly relocated service and this issue is now being handled by our Engineering Team.

The initial test result shows that there is a network issue controlled by the NBN co. This unfortunately means only NBN co. technicians have the authority to fix this fault.

We'll chase this with them and request for urgent case handling updates will be provided within 24-48hrs via SMS or Phone call. We apologise for any inconvenience.
