No internet connection

I received my modem 3 weeks ago and got a message sent to connect the NBN modem but it still doesn’t work. The first light is on and the second light flashes. I have contacted someone about 5 times now and no one has helped me. I have watched the link and tried to connect it every day since I received the modem but nothing works. Please have someone contact me or assist me or I will move to a different provider.

Your NBN order is still showing in progress. Can you please confirm your modem/router and NBN NCD is connected like the image below and powered on? NBN need to be able to detect your NBN NCD, please leave this connected and powered on.
