Phone porting

Hi,
NBN has just been connected, and I was wondering how I will know when the home phone porting (from Optus) will have been completed? I understand that it can take up to 5 working days, but will I receive an sms or email to acknowledge that the porting is complete? Thx.

Hi @Cathryn12,

 

Yes, you'll be notified via Email that the TPG NBN bundle is already active and both incoming and outgoing calls should start working.

I recently connected my TPG internet bundle and also elected for my previous home number to be ported.
I have not received the email notifying me that the porting has been successfully completed and it has been longer than 2weeks.

Any updates please?

We had a look at your account and we can see that the phone number porting is still in progress.
