Mobile number porting error?

Received a text stating 'We have encountered an error while trying to port your mobile number.
Please check your email for more details.'

But I have not received any email with details about what the problem may be. So far it's been 5 days since trying to activate my Sim and haven't had replies to any of my emails sent, has anyone experienced these issues before? How did you go about getting someone to contact you back?
