Video Calls Excluded

On your Sim Only Plans it says that Video calls are excluded. Does this mean Facetime or Whats App calls or something else please?  I am confused!

Hi @rwolf24 . Facetime and Whats App calls are made through the internet and use the Data Allowance part of your plan, same as watching a Youtube video.

The video calls which are excluded are calls made through the phone part of your plan, from your phone number to another phone number.

In Facetime, Whats App, Skype, etc, users might register using their phone number, its only a name for the user. You might register with email address or a username.

So clearly I'm about to show my cluelessness but, how do you tell the difference.........?

@rwolf24 . In Phone app, select Contacts, select a contact. You'll see the phone call and message icons. You might also see a video camera icon. This is for the excluded video call. Not all phones have this feature. You can contact the Support section of your phone for more info.
