Extortion email seems to have been sent from my own email address to me

I have received an email that appears to have been sent from my own email address.  It contains threats and a demand for payment to a bitcoin account for this to stop.  What can I do?

I have also received one - extortion email sent from my own email address, payment to be made to a bitcoin account or a suposed video of myself will be publicised.

I'm not sure what to do here

Please make sure to not click any link that was sent along with the said email as it may contain some spyware that may compromise your computer/device.

Delete and ignore those emails.
